LIFE-SAVING MEANS AND PRODUCTS FOR MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY
UZEMIK Co. is the biggest Manufacturer of inflatable life rafts for aircraft and marine vessels over the world. The accumulated experience and high-quality personnel of the enterprise makes possible the development and application into operation more and more perfect patterns of life-saving equipment. Signal means complete set, light-reflecting tapes, corner reflectors contribute to rapidly detect some objects on sea space. Among the individual life-saving means there are several models of life vests, hydrothermal suits allowing a survivor to stand in cold waters of the northern seas about 6 hours. The range of life-saving means includes the emergency ladders for air-crafts, air hoists, aircraft boats.
In connection with the first-aid service creation in Russia, the Plant has fulfilled a number of experimental engineering developments of the pneumatic frame-structures, which may be used in any climatic zones. The experience obtained due to the rapidly-erected pneumatic frame structures for mobile hospital deployment in Tchetchnya, Yugoslavia and Turkey has shown their high reliability, efficiency and irreplaceability under the emergency circumstances.
There is obtained a wide application with 8-seater rescue motor boats "Kainar" and "Strizh" which have been under tests effected by a Center of Catastrophes' Medicine together with Ministry of Emergency.
The inflatable marine life rafts, hydrothermal suit, pneumatic frame-structures are prize-winners of the "100 best goods of Russia" competition.
GOODS FOR REST AND ENTERTAINMENT
During many years the rubber boats remain the most well-known products for users. In the production program of the enterprise there are more than 20 models of rowing and motor boats of different modifications. This produce is in a stable demand both among the fishers and hunters, nature-lovers of active rest on water and tourists. For many years they subjugate the routes using popular inflatable boats "Ufimka", "Omega", "Tourist", "Korsar". There are constantly conducted the works in order to modernize the already existent boats and develop new models of boats taking into account the consumers' demands.
A wide popularity is enjoyed by goods for rest and entertainment: "Squirrel" wheel, balls, air-beds, inflatable trampolines, pools, water slides, trimarans, winter sledges, tourist tents, air-furniture, whose assortment becomes larger every year. PRODUCTS FOR AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY AND AGRICULTURE
UZEMIK Co. is recognized as a leader among Manufacturers of V-belts at the Russian Market. The Plant is manufacturing more than 300 standard sizes of fan V-belts, variable-speed drive belts, multi-grooved and flat driving belts designed for automobile transport, agricultural facilities and equipment for machine building plants. The introduction into production of the belts for combines of the foreign companies "Case" and "New Holland" opens new possibilities for the enterprise. UZEMIK Co. is manufacturing and offer for sale the conveyor belts, tents for automobile and trailers, canopies, large assortment of components parts and spare parts for agricultural and other equipment, as well as a number of moulded parts for different transport including the knurled track to be used for busses, tramways, trolley-buses, floor covering, pneumatic compressors, mats for "Volga" automobile.
ARTICLES FOR GAS AND OIL PRODUCTION INDUSTRY
Among a rich assortment of UZEMIK Co.'s products used in the sphere of gas and oil industry there are belts for oil rockers, shelters for drilling rigs, protective suits for oil industry workers.
Till now the harbour booms remain one of the most effective means for localizing the oil and oil derivatives spread on the surface of rivers, seas and other reservoirs. The periodical tests of harbour booms on the main oil line of Russia allow constantly to modernize some elements of enclosures, improving its construction. In order to collect oil in emergency on petroleum products pipe lines for the purpose of protecting the environment there are used special inserts which are fabricated by UZEMIK Co. from solid oil-and petrol- resistant rubberized fabrics of its own make. During cleaning and repair works on pipe lines in order to make air-tight the area subject to be repaired, there are used locking balloons. The quality of the Plant's products is confirmed by solid business relations with the leading enterprises of industry.
ARTICLES FOR COAL-MINING INDUSTRY
For this industry UZEMIK Co. fabricates shaft vent tubes and shaped parts for them, portable pneumatic protective enclosures, explosion -proof stoppings, suits for miners and drivers. The experience accumulated during many years concerning the application of vent tubes in the Kuzbass region, at the Extreme North and Ukraine confirms an exclusive quality which is noted by the test results of Institutions VOSTNII, MAKNII and Institute of Scothinsky.
UZEMIK Co. fabricates vent tubes from the new construction materials of its own make on the basis of highly solid textiles. The specifications have been submitted to the approval of "Labour Protection, Emergency and Ecology Administration" of "RosOugol" concern. The double-side polymer covering meets to the new requirements complete set, presented by "TonEnergo" Ministry and State Technical Supervision of Russia concerning the quality of flexible shaft vent tubes.
ARTICLES FOR ADVERTISING AND HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS
The specialists of the Plant are fabricating the advertising balloons with logotype or enterprise name, different voluminous pneumatic figures of fairy-tale personages. Also the trade pavilions named "Jurta" have become an integral attribute of numerous holidays. The Design Service takes the orders for development and fabrication of summer cafe-houses, tents, pavilions.
MATERIALS FOR PRINTING INDUSTRY
UZEMIK Co. is the sole Manufacturer in Russia as well as in the Common Wealth Union of rubber plastic materials for the printing industry. The unique production technology on the base of the Plant allows to fabricate the offset rubber fabric blankets, tympan packing and sub-packing materials of different thickness and destinations. The fabricated by UZEMIK Co., blankets of new generation ПМН-1 (for printing on paper) and ПМН-2 (for printing on cardboard) with microcellular structure of the compressed layer by the prices are considerably lower than their import analogues and by technical and operational characteristics bring them nearer to the best foreign analogues. At the enterprise there is started up the production of grinding plates with a fixed gauge to assure a high printing quality in color and white version. The МПН blankets are suitable to be used on high-rapid printing machines resistant to different washing-out solvents. They have a long-service life and can to be reduced. At the request of the Customer, the Plant inserts the metal bars.
There are a lot of printing enterprises from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, working with UZEMIK Co.'s printing material.
ARTICLES FOR MEDICINE
The possibilities of the enterprise permit to provide for medical oil cloth made of rubber fabric to be underlaid in sanitary and hygienic purposes of different color range in any quantity. The articles are certificated and approved by the Ministry of Public Health, provided with a hygienic conclusion and registered certificate of the Ministry of Public Health of Russia. It is supplied in rolls and PE packets, packed up with 1m; 1,5 m and 2 meters long. For medical and child institutions UZEMIK Co. fabricates covers for mattresses.
BUILDING MATERIALS
One of the priority directions of UZEMIK Co.'s activities is production of building materials. There are listed among these products: glues, mastics, anticorrosive agents, floor coverings, roofing materials "Elon", rubber seals for wooden, plastic and metal constructions.
The roofing material "Elon", fabricated by the Plant, is designed for installation and repair of the roofs of industrial, public and residential buildings as well as for making water-proof building constructions and resistant to chemical agent coatings. This material has all merits of polymers: solid and flexible, resistant to atmospheric sediments influence, ozone and microorganisms. The coating made of the material "Elon", may be used in macroclimatic regions with temperate and cold climate at the temperature of air in range from minus 60°C to +120°C. The material is provided with fire risk certificate and hygienic conclusion. It is recommended to use the adhesive mastic "MastElon" for laying the roofing materials.
A particular interest is provoked by rubber seals for plastic, metal and wooden constructions (windows, doors, fronts, stained-glass windows, balcony barriers, trade pavilions, fabricated on the German equipment of high precision. The total automation and computerization of production process ensures a severe quality control on all steps of fabrication. The rubber seals of UZEMIK Co. have been developed taking into account all requirements of the International Standard DIN 7863 and are manufactured according to the Plant specifications ТУ 38 305-8-405-2001 on the base of EPDM rubbers according to compositions developed on the basis of the licensed technology of the Holland Company DSM, tested and approved in Holland. Specifications ТУ 38 305-8-405-2001 have been undergone the examination of experts by Accredited Center "BashStroyCertification" of the Ministry of Building of the Bashkortostan Republic, taking into account the requirements of the project of the State Standard concerning rubber seal profiles.
Application of progressive technology, classical equipment, high-quality raw materials provide the optimum operational characteristics of the final product. Rubber seals of UZEMIK Co. are operational at any kind of atmospheric influences within the temperature range from minus 50°C up to +70°C. They have high indices of durability and assure a reliable air-tightness, thermal and sound-proofing construction. The service life of seals is, at least, 10 years. The product quality is confirmed by a certificate of conformity, the sanitary and ecological safety - by sanitary and epidemiological conclusion.

UZEMIK Co. is fabricating technical plates, non-cured blends, rubber cords and threads, large assortment of rubberized fabrics, as well as glue of different purpose and many other things.
